Take on a "Can Do" attitude by recycling your aluminum cans with us.   Thanks for thinking of others by helping in this small way!     Recently, a Girl Scout Group from Iowa City raised $500.00 for our Youth Program! Way to go!

In order to participate, collect and save your aluminum cans and then bring them in to the Habitat ReStore located on 2401 Scott Blvd. SE in Iowa City

What is Cans for Habitat?

Cans for Habitat raises money to build houses for Habitat for Humanity by encouraging people to recycle their empty aluminum beverage cans. The Cans for Habitat program is organized and funded by the aluminum industry.

Since its inception, the Cans for Habitat recycling program has proven to be extremely worthwhile for local affiliates. It raises money, increases awareness of Habitat within the community, builds lists of donors, gives children a way to become involved with Habitat, all while helping the environment.
