Cars for Homes By donating a car to Iowa Valley Habitat’s Cars for Homes program, you help us build houses in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. It is quick and easy to donate cars, trucks, boats, airplanes, RVs, motorcycles, farm and construction equipment or other vehicles—even if they aren’t running! Not only will your donated vehicle benefit our affiliate, but you will help eliminate waste in the landfill and even receive a tax deduction! (Consult the IRS or your tax adviser for details.) If you have a vehicle – running or not – and you’d like to donate it to Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity, please call us at 319.337.8949. We may be able to use it at IVHFH, however if not we will provide you with instructions to process the vehicle donation through Habitat for Humanity International’s Cars for Homes car donation program.
