Thank you to everyone who has supported us during our flood recovery efforts. Our volunteers donated over 2,300 hours to help clean out affected homes in the area. Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity received over $20,000 in monetary donations from IVHFH donors, and in addition, we have received many donations of food, water and supplies for our staff and volunteers.

Grants from Rockwell Collins and the Community Foundation of Johnson County allowed us to distribute small grants through our Flood Recovery Grant Program. Through this program, we helped around 20 flood-affected families purchase new furnaces, water heaters, and other small appliances.

We truly appreciate everyone’s hard work, time, donations, and encouragement! Thank you for ensuring these families have a safe home in which to live.
