Our Mission:
Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity (IVHFH) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a 501(c)(3) Christian housing organization created to build and sell simple, decent, quality housing to low-income, working families throughout the world. Since 1994, Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity has built 52 homes in Johnson, Cedar, and Iowa counties.

Alternative Gift Giving
Searching for the perfect gift for your family and friends? Are you tired of buying presents that people don't want or need? Honor your family and friends at the same time you help build a home for a local family in need by purchasing an alternative gift from us. We will send a card to each person you honor, or if you prefer we will give you the cards so you can mail them yourself. Either way, you will know that you are making several people happy: the person who receives the card and the family who is partnering with Habitat to build their own home.
