Dear Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity friends, I am writing to provide an update about the measures Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity is taking to protect our staff, volunteers and the people we serve during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. These measures are based on guidance from Habitat for Humanity International and local, state and national public health authorities. We are continually monitoring the situation, and our approach may change as new guidance is provided. |
Given the current circumstances in our area, our builds and events have been postponed or cancelled, this includes all Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity volunteer activities and our office will remain closed during this time. In addition, our ReStore has temporarily closed. We will send out additional updates as conditions change. Below we have included a detailed list of all of our cancellations and postponements.
We recognize these measures may be disruptive to your plans, but given our local conditions, this postponements and cancellations are prudent. To learn more details about how this will affect you, please contact our staff at info@iowavalleyhabitat.org.
Please know that we are constantly monitoring the situation and will update our plans as new details emerge. Thank you for your continued support as we navigate this public health crisis together.
In partnership,
Tami Bonnett
Development Director
